Continuing to Work for its Living

The exhibition at Romsey Abbey has now been taken down. It was a wonderful place in which to exhibit. I was aware that there was not much opportunity to photograph Metamorphosis 2 since the light was so poor in the Abbey and given that it is my intention to alter the pieces and transform them in some way into Metamorphosis 3, I decided another photo shoot was

in order

At the moment they are not earmarked for anything in particular so the transformation is on the back burner – I have some ideas so its a question of watch this space

that overdye was magical! can’t wait to see how you transform further

  2. Beautiful colours, love to know how you got them. How big was this piece, I am very fond of long strips

The pieces were over dyed with madder I think there is a blog post back in the year – would be some time in the summer about the actual process.
Each banner was about 3 metres long. I also am very fond of long strips
